This hub is THE NUMBER ONE resource you’ll need to keep in order to prepare for your session! It is FULL of tips and tricks for getting portrait perfect ready as well as links and printables to make it your best day yet!
The guides here are designed to help you prepare for your session. Please make sure you have downloaded and viewed what is needed, as ALL of the information is vital to the outcome of your pictures.

What to Wear Guide
First and foremost, I want to tell you how excited I am to start planning your senior portrait session! Other than your amazing personality, your wardrobe is one of the key factors to having a successful session that reflects your true self. Please use the following information, links and downloads to begin to prepare for your senior session wardrobe options. It includes everything from what colors look best with your skin tone, what clothing styles look best with your body, and which styles look best at certain locations.
A few things to keep in mind:

FIT YOUR FORM
Fitted clothing that shows your shape works best for photographs. This applies to any body type. For girls, outfits should hug your curves, especially along your top half. Loose flowing skirts are fabulous as long as your bodice or top is snug. Skip that billowy, blouson top or dress. While they might be flattering in person, they will not be slimming in camera and add a lot of volume.

THINK TEXTURE
Sumptuous textures like lace, chiffon, velvet, bead work, or embroidery lend a rich, tactile element to your photos. Avoid very thin stripes/pin stripes, high contrast patterns, busy prints, very small plaids, which are distracting and/or do not photograph well. Logos or graphics are “don’ts”, unless you are wanting a sporty or urban/city look.

SEND OUTFIT PICTURES
Once you have your outfits picked out, it is helpful if you could text me a few pictures so I can start to plan out our shoot. Having 3 different outfits usually works out great! My cell is 407-496-0021 for texting the outfit pictures to me.
Locations Magazine
To help you decide where you would like your photo shoot, I have put together a digital Locations Magazine. The Locations Magazine showcases some of the local spots where I photograph seniors. When selecting your location, think about what outfits you are wearing, for example, if you would like to shoot in a field of grass with flowers, a beautiful flowy burgundy dress would look amazing. Whereas if you want to shoot downtown, a pair of ripped jeans with boots would complete your edgy look.
Survey
I have all of my clients fill out a questionnaire that helps me learn more about them. Please click on the link and it will take you directly to the questionnaire. Once you fill out the questionnaire, please press submit and it will be sent directly to me. Your feedback from the questionnaire will help me get to know you a little better. It will also help me gear your session toward your style. The more detailed you are in this form, the better your session will reflect your personality.
You will be selecting your shoot location in the Survey, so be sure you have looked through the Locations Magazine.
