Samantha | Lake Brantley High School

Meet Samantha, a bubbly and fun high school senior from Lake Brantley High School, who is ready to take on the world! Samantha is a driven student with a passion for helping others and a love for exploring new places. This gorgeous senior has gained valuable work experience by working as a culinary server at Village on the Green. However, her passion for helping others extends beyond her work as she has volunteered at various organizations, including ACTION Church as a youth group leader, and the Lake Brantley Rowing Association’s “Learn to Row” program, where she taught the basics of rowing to grade-schoolers. One of her most meaningful volunteer experiences was during the summer before her 11th grade when she helped with the Transition Program, which aims to help incoming freshmen who failed their classes regain strong academic confidence and abilities.

Additionally, she has also been involved in various extracurricular activities during her time in high school, such as being a part of the Partners in Health Club Leadership Board. In her free time, Samantha likes to explore new places, go thrifting/shopping, and work on filmmaking projects. She also enjoys going to the gym to stay fit and healthy. This bright young lady’s favorite subject in school is English, and she has earned the AP Scholar with Distinction Award in 11th grade. Samantha is a fashion-forward student who follows some trends but also loves to be unique. Her favorite fashion trend right now is Y2K, and her favorite clothing piece is her Hello Kitty sweatshirt. Some of her favorite stores to shop at include Tilly’s, Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Abercrombie (Abercrombie has been absolutely slaying the fashion game this year!).

After her graduation, she plans to attend the University of Central Florida and major in Clinical Psychology. She chose UCF because of the campus, the merit scholarship they offered, and the specific track they have for her to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. In the future, Samantha hopes to offer services to underprivileged individuals who may not be able to afford mental health treatment and open her own practice. With her fun and outgoing personality and love for life, we have no doubt that Samantha will make a difference in the world, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors!
