Annika, a senior at Alderwood Academy, is a talented senior who has a passion for working with children! Her dedication to education is matched only by her love for photography and fashion, making her a perfect candidate for an amazing senior photoshoot…I felt so lucky to be her photographer. Her favorite subject in school is math, and in her free time, this active senior enjoys running, babysitting, swimming, playing video games, and cooking. She loves movies and tutoring as well. Annika is also an enthusiastic member of the track team at her high school.
This beautiful girl has an easygoing and laid-back personality, and treasures memories from high school like the senior “red-carpet” walk. One interesting fact about Annika is that she grew up in Hawaii playing volleyball and doing the hula (how cool is that?!), but their family moved frequently due to her father’s military career (love the image of her whole family below!). Besides her academics and hobbies, she also loves working with children at a local enrichment program, which she explains brings her joy as she “watches them learn the material”. In addition, she enjoys volunteering with charities. She is eager to get to graduation, and hopes to attend college after she finishes her time at Alderwood. Right now, she is considering her options, and hopes to attend the University of Oregon or the University of Central Florida after a year at Valencia.
