Lauren | Winter Park High School

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” These words, spoken by Winston Churchill, hold a powerful message for high school seniors as they embark on their next journey. Remember that the grades you achieved, the accolades you earned, and the obstacles you overcame in high school are not the end-all-be-all of your life. Success is a journey, not a destination, and it requires persistence and determination! Itโ€™s those qualities that make Lauren, this senior from Winter Park High School, such a joy.

This beautiful girl chose me as her senior photographer (lucky me!) because she wanted clean, crisp, and natural photos to commemorate this season of her life. She envisioned some more traditional portraits, as well as ones that incorporated her beautiful horse, Nino. Her horse is stunning, and made for the perfect portrait companion! When she is not spending time riding her horse, Lauren enjoys going to the beach, shopping, and attending horse shows. Her favorite clothing stores to shop at are Lululemon and Urban Outfitters. Lauren also volunteers as a babysitter for families in her neighborhood, and she has participated in the Winter Park Youth Leaders program.

Lauren is driven, kind, and has a huge heart. She is thrilled to be graduating and moving onto the next phase of her life, where she will be attending Auburn University. Because horseback riding is such a large part of her life, she hopes to join the equestrian team at Auburn. This sweet girl has nothing but good things ahead of her, and I am delighted to be able to watch her step into her success.
