I have learned after many years in senior photography, that you cannot ever predict the things someone has gone through or walked through in their lives. My juniors and seniors come to their senior shoots from all walks of life, and it is always so amazing to meet them, learn more about their backgrounds, and become acquainted with their hopes and dreams. It is always part of my process to figure out what will make that particular junior or senior feel confident, and proud of all the things they have accomplished so far. I think carefully about the locations, poses, and ideas that I present to each one…this is one of those incredible sessions where the finished product really shows the heart and soul of the person in it.
Meet Anuha: a sweet and stylish young lady from Trinity Preparatory School, who is graduating from the Class of 2022. She was such a delight to work with, and I really loved hearing about her life and some of the things she is excited about in her future. One of those is her grandmother is going to be traveling from India for the first time in three years to visit her before she leaves for college. She is an only child, but her family also has a darling little dog! Anuha is bright, beautiful, and an accomplished athlete as well. She will be attending Indiana University in the fall, and is thrilled about that upcoming transition.
No matter what background or lifestyle you come from, I look forward to capturing you and the amazing milestone that is senior year. It is something irreplaceable that deserves to be commemorated!
