Sometimes, a senior wants a few serious poses, or I ask them to make a more neutral facial expression during a shoot. But for Sophia, it was all smiles, and that was just fine with me! This girl is not only beautiful, but also extremely active, smart, and fun to be around. Sophia is a senior at Lake Mary High School, where she is part of the Spanish Honor Society, the Interact Club, the Key Club, and the National Honor Society. The Interact Club is part of the Rotary International organization, which encourages students to work hard in their communities through service projects. Sophia was also one of my spokesmodels this year, and I loved having her by my side. In addition to her many academic pursuits, she enjoys being part of the tennis team, and in fact, she has played tennis with my son since they were in elementary school (I even played on the same tennis team as her mother). When I asked about her favorite memories of high school so far, she said prom with her friends would be near the top of her list.
Although she had not had professional photos done before, this girl jumped right in with both feet, with a great attitude and of course, her stunning smile. She really was hoping for portraits that didn’t look forced or posed, and adds, “My sister, Maria, had done her senior pictures with Linda, and each picture was stunning! Maria had such a fun time while on the shoot and said it was a great experience, so I wanted that experience as well!” I loved that her family chose me a second time. Sophia has exquisite taste and with every outfit change, I got to see a new side of her lovely personality. Some of her favorite fashion items include thigh-high boots, high heels, and anything with the color red. After high school concludes, this girl hopes to attend an Ivy League school or the University of Michigan; either option will be lucky to have her. When it came time for her session reveal, her family was so delighted with all of their options! I have included some of our beautiful product offerings at the end of this post, and many of them went home with Sophia to grace their family walls/shelves. I hope they are always able to look back on this time with fondness and joy, and to appreciate all of the talent and accomplishment in the life of this young lady.
