I got the sense that this sweet girl knows right where she is heading in this life. She’s got such a solid sense of self, and she exudes confidence in everything she does. And there’s a good reason why…she’s heading in some pretty great directions! Sanaya is a recent graduate from Apopka High School, sharing that the biggest thing she’s learned is that “being involved is important when you’re a senior…high school only happens once!” She has been a cheerleader, and really loved her math classes. Sanaya has also been part of the National Beta Club, the National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. Since math is her favorite subject, she is passionate about imparting that love to others…she’s been an instructor at Mathnasium for over a year, and helps children learn crucial math skills. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, drawing, and designing. Sanaya is deeply creative, and is always looking for new ways to express herself and learn new things. When she toured colleges last year, she fell in love with UF, and decided that will be her prospective college home. She cites getting into her dream school as the biggest accomplishment thus far!
Besides being an absolutely amazing student and human being, Sanaya is also a fashionista. She describes her personal style as trendy and mostly streetwear, and her favorite item is her Steve Madden sandals. Her favorite places to shop are Instagram thrift shops and boutiques. When we met up, she shared that she wanted something more unique than just standard, sit-down senior photos…she wanted fun! Well, we were definitely able to make that happen. We found colorful murals and backdrops that perfectly suited her big, amazing personality and smile. I love the energy and good vibes that we achieved!
