What is the mark of a great session?
Maybe when the parents or the senior cry when they see the final images! It sure is something special to get to be a part of those moments. Cambry and her mom were a true joy to work with! I have just returned from a visit with my own daughter, and it warmed my heart to see Cambry and her mom laugh and enjoy this session together, like the best friends that they are. Mom is very proud of her daughter, who is graduating from Lake Nona High School. The amazing grad is active on the varsity volleyball team, the national honor society, and is loving the athletic training program. “I train younger children with my best friend as well, and teaching beginning level volleyball is so much fun”, she adds, “It also motivated me to earn and manage my own money”. Free time isn’t as easy to come by these days, but when she does have it, Cambry says, “I love to play the ukulele, go to the beach, or hang out with my friends. In fact, any time I have free time, I love being with my friends. We are all super close, and our time together is precious.”
Athletics and fitness are a big part of her life, so It’s only natural that she hopes to pursue those things in college. Cambry shared, “I am going to major in exercise and sports science. Athletics have always been a part of my life, so I’m very interested in building up athletes and helping them through rehab. I’m not sure what I will do just yet, but I know at some point, I’d love to be a coach”. She plans to attend Nova Southeastern University in the fall. “In high school, I learned most of all to never give up on myself”, she concludes, “I went through so many trials this year. It was very rough but I kept my head high and continued on. My biggest accomplishment was finally committing to play for Nova Southeastern on the tenth of March because there was so much relief that I finally knew where I was going for college!” Cambry is outgoing and passionate, and she will be an incredible scholar-athlete.
