Innovation and creativity are two hallmarks of the work I strive for, and if you know me, you know I am always dreaming, researching, and planning new things for my clients! It keeps my work fresh, and keeps my clients wondering what I will come up with next! This shoot with Kieran made my creative heart soar, and may be one of my favorite shoots to date! She is graduating from Winter Springs High School, where she is Team Captain of the dance team. Kieran is a gorgeous, show-stopping type of girl, with a stunning smile and a heart that’s always inclined to helping others. When I think of Kieran, I think of soaring dreams and elegant lines, and we brought that concept to life with her editorial style shoot with an urban flair. Dance is such a big part of her life, and it doesn’t allow her much spare time, but she LOVES it. She’s part of Integrity Dance Company on top of her school dance team, and adds, “Dance is what makes me feel most alive”. Of course, I knew I wanted to incorporate her beautiful sissońe leaps and pointe work into her shoot, so that she can always look back and remember such an important milestone in her life (and the part that dance played in it). I could have continued shooting with her all day!
“I envisioned my session as a time when I could open up…I wanted to have fun, and to create amazing memories”, she shared, “I loved the style of your photos, and the vivid colors”. This dark-haired beauty describes herself as “quiet at first”, but I saw glimpses of her funny, sarcastic, and witty self, and her friends love her thoughtful and compassionate heart. She is preparing for her next step (attending college), and hopes to major in Criminology in the future. Kieran, you are vibrant and lovely, just like these images!
