Wow!!! Just take a look at all these amazing young people. As I see their faces, I have vivid memories of our time together; from consults to session days, and their big reveals, of course…but mostly, I remember their beautiful souls. I remember hearing their stories, and getting to know them on a personal level. I learned about the struggles they went through to get where they are, of the bullying they overcame, of the sports injuries that derailed their careers and how they bounced back, of friendships forged and lost in high school, of heartbreak and victory, and of that hard-earned grade point average that rose or fell as they worked hard in every single class. I was constantly wowed at the ways they all hope to change the world; from entrepreneurs to doctors and nurses, athletes, teachers, and social rights activists. It was truly a privilege to work with such a diverse and incredibly amazing group of young people. As a mother myself, these are the types of teens that make me truly proud, and make me feel confident in the world that is to come.
Every one of you is going to make a true mark on the lives around you.
