Some seniors just show up ready to rock their session with a relaxed attitude and an easy confidence, and this guy was one of them! Quinn is an Oviedo High School senior and I’m not sure “busy” can even sum up all the activities he’s a part of! Not only is he working part time for a website company, he also is volunteering many hours at Sanibel Sea School, the New Beginnings Cat Rescue, and a local soccer club. He shared, “This work was really meaningful to me because I had heard about fostering animals, and I wanted to get involved myself. I also love volunteering with soccer, because I wanted to give back to the community that has given so much to me”. He’s an avid soccer player, and describes himself as relaxed and laid-back. He adds that his friends would probably describe him as, “chill, nice, and honest!”. I loved that he told me his biggest role models are his parent, explaining, “I look up to my both of them. They both have had extremely successful careers and lives and I admire that and strive to achieve that same or even more success.”
This insightful young man also shared that he’s learned in high school that it is best to be himself, because it’s easy to resent himself if he isn’t authentic. I loved that. He is in the middle of college decisions, and is considering all his options for programs and campuses. One important aspect is that he wants to enter the Cybersecurity field, “I will be majoring in this because of a few different reasons. I always thought I wanted to be a police detective growing up but as I got older, I discovered that I was naturally good with computers and programming. So I decided to combine my love for problem solving with my skills with computers to get to CyberSecurity.” After graduation, he also has dreams of going skydiving and becoming more successful in conquering some of his competitive video games.
Quinn is kind, thoughtful, and smart. He is also a twin! I did his twin’s photos as well and will be sharing them soon on the blog, too. They are from a wonderful family that I treasure, and I’m so grateful they chose me to be a part of this milestone.
