Caroline is one of those awesome young people that thinks through things in unique ways, and always has a valuable perspective on life. She is just overall a very sweet spirit, and I can tell she cares deeply for the people in her life. As a senior at Lake Mary High School, she has been actively involved in bettering her school and her community. Although she has only been a student at LMHS since the 2020-2021 school year, she quickly jumped in and got involved. She is also a nanny and baby-sitter, and has worked with animal refuge programs caring for kittens. Lastly, she has been on the student board of GROW in Central Florida, which helps provide children with resources to stay health and active. “Getting to help, get my hands dirty, and make real change around me, is amazing,” she shared. She also takes tennis lessons twice a week, and spends her spare time drawing and painting.
College was a big decision for her, and she is excited to attend Colby College and follow in her parents’ footsteps (they are both alums), and when she visited there, she fell in love. She loves the Maine wilderness setting, and the liberal arts programs that were offered at Colby. Leaving her beloved Lake Mary community is exciting and also bittersweet, as she has a really wonderful core group of girls she is friends with. “I love hanging out with my friends,” she explained, “Whether we are studying together or just going out for food, my girls really are getting me through senior year, and I can’t imagine my life without them.”
When it came time to select a senior photographer, Caroline’s mom found my work on social media, and shared it with her. “I really wanted my senior photos to be fun, and I wanted to feel beautiful,” she adds, “I wanted photos that I could look back on in the future and feel like I did look like my most authentic self. I love that there is no heavy editing present and that LGP wants to make every girl look like their best self!”
Making this girl look beautiful was pretty much the easiest job ever (she is naturally lovely and has a beautiful personality), and I wish her so many good things ahead!
