“We are bound only by the limits of our imaginations”- Misha Collins
As a photographer, one of the things I notice first on just about everyone I meet, is their eyes and their beautiful smile! It is just what draws me to people, and their joy is always evident through their gaze or their smile. Mia has both show-stopping eyes AND a gorgeous smile, and as soon as I met her, I knew I would connect with her. She’s such a lovely young lady with a super busy schedule, and getting to work with her was a true privilege because there was a lot of ground to cover to capture her senior year! She is graduating from Lake Mary High School, where she has spent her high school years participating in the National Honor Society and the Lake Mary Marionettes. She also has done so much volunteer work, we could hardly fit everything into this blog! Mia is someone who values her time, and enjoys spending it enriching the lives of others. She volunteers in concessions at OSC, is an assistant indoor soccer coach, and she has even created coloring pages for children who are in the hospital (through an organization called the March of the Blanketeers).
“When I do have spare time, I love painting and reading, and listening to music with my friends in the car”, she explained, “One of my favorite memories from high school was definitely sophomore prom or the trip to Busch Gardens. I have learned a lot in high school, especially that I am very capable as a person, and even as a leader”. One of her biggest accomplishments is winning the National Junior Varsity Kick title right before COVID hit, and then getting accepted into multiple colleges. “After I graduate, I will be attending The College of William and Mary”, she continued, “I hope to major in forensic science or biochemistry, and I want to be a forensic scientist one day.” Mia hoped to document her senior year with a fun time, and I couldn’t wait to get to work. I found these awesome locations, and everything worked together perfectly to bring her senior year to a close!
