Slone | Boone High School Class of 2021

“In response to those who say to stop dreaming and face reality, I say keep dreaming and make reality.” -Kristian Kan

Dreaming about the future is just one thing that makes senior year so very special. The young people who are getting ready to graduate are always eager to make their plans, spread their wings, and begin shaping the world. Their energy and light makes being a senior photographer new and different every day, as I meet and work with so many amazing young men and women. Slone is a big dreamer with an unmatched sense of hard work and an un-dimmable joy.

She is part of the Class of 2021 from Boone High School, where she is part of the best buddies program (helps create inclusive communities for those with physical or intellectual disabilities). Slone really enjoys math, and hopes to one day enter the field of engineering to utilize her love of numbers. In her spare time, she especially loves doing water sports on the lake, and playing flag football with her friends. Her unique personality expands into her personal style; she loves wearing things that aren’t necessarily “popular”, like her favorite Doc Marten shoes, and oversized tee shirts. She follows some of the big fashion influencers like Maddie Ziegler, and one of her favorite stores is Urban Outfitters. Although she described her everyday style as more “grunge”, she kept her session style more classic and elegant. I have no doubt this girl can rock a grunge look just as well as a pretty blouse…she is stunning and her personality came through in every single image.

Slone is looking back at her high school years (the ones so far) with fondness already, and says she will always treasure memories like all the football games and the memories with her friends. She would like to attend a college or university in Florida after graduation. Congratulations, sweet girl!
