“Get it done”
It’s a hard thing to put our noses to the grindstone and knock out those projects we have been putting off, but it’s integral to being a productive human…especially in high school. That’s one of the many reasons I’m so impressed with the graduating class this year. Not only are they juggling an unbelievable amount of stress (not to mention the most recent unknowns), they are also learning how to multitask and accomplish all of their many tasks. Juliette (or Juju as her friends call her) says her mom instilled a work ethic in her that she truly appreciates now that she’s older, and says, “My mom is the type of person who truly gets things done, and when she puts her mind to something, you can’t change her mind or stop her!”
Juliette is graduating from Boone High School, where she has absolutely loved things like her calculus class, and the varsity Lacrosse team. She has also worked part-time at Create Your Nature, which is a smoothie bowl restaurant (yum!), and enjoys traveling and going to the beach when she has the chance. “Natural” was the main thing she wanted for her shoot, and she emphasized that she wanted to look like herself, and not stiff or over-edited. I was more than glad to make her vision happen, and with her natural beauty and personality, it was easy! This amazing girl also loves some unique trends like snakeskin and atypical clothing patterns, and shops frequently at Urban Outfitters and NastyGal for her adorable outfits. Upon graduation, she plans to travel, go to Coachella, and begin working on her law degree. Although she hasn’t heard back from all of her college prospects, she hopes to attend the University of Florida.
Congratulations, Juju!
