“Strive for beauty that can be felt not just seen”
The inspiring quote above is Riley’s favorite, and I loved it. It is one thing to be beautiful, and another to be beautiful inside and out, and Riley is both. She is a person who is so warm and welcoming, that she makes everyone automatically feel at ease. As soon as I met her, I knew I would really enjoy working with her, and I felt so lucky to also do her twin brother’s senior portraits as well (I will be sharing those in an upcoming blog!). Riley is graduating from Bishop Moore Catholic High School, where she daily works at honing her inner beauty, and her academic success. She is active in the outdoor society at the school, and is a talented artist and soccer player. When she’s not in class, she has enjoyed getting work experience at a local Taproom, and in retail. As an active student and athlete, she doesn’t get many free days, but she fills the ones she does have with swimming, working out, traveling, and doing anything in the outdoors.
Riley has a wonderful, casual, and fun personality, and it was a pleasure to do her senior portraits. She hoped for a session that was laid-back and chic, and I couldn’t wait to make that dream come true. Riley has an elegant style with a little bit of an edge (her favorite trend is animal print!), and she likes finding the latest statement items at Urban Outfitters and American Threads. She shared that she wanted to look happy and beautiful, and I think you’ll agree that she certainly achieved her goal. A few other interesting facts about her are that she traveled to Costa Rica recently, and that she is a big music fan (she likes bands like Vampire Weekend and MGMT). Lastly, she will be attending the University of Mississippi, where her brother will also be at college. I love that they will have each other as they navigate that exciting first year!
Thank you, Riley, for such a beautiful day together!
