Lighting, editing, posing…there are so many components to a senior session, and each one is something that my clients value. I ask all of my prospective seniors to let me know what they did or didn’t love when working with other photographers in the past, and their feedback helps me tailor their session perfectly to them! Usually, they mention things like the way the photographer made them feel (whether that was good or bad), and it always reminds me that the experience matters just as much as the photos! Zoe and I had so much fun together, I nearly lost track of time! She is a wonderful young lady, with tons of drive and discipline. She attends Lake Mary High School, and is part of the national honor society, the Spanish honor society, the ocean club, and the art appreciation club. She loves history, and enjoys poring over amazing books when she has the time. She also has worked as a lifeguard and a swim instructor; which put her experience in varsity swim and water polo to good use (she loves her job, and often gets to work with children with special needs). I asked her what she likes to do in her spare time, and she noted that with her busy schedule, when she has free time, she loves taking a well-deserved nap!
I was also honored enough to do photos for her sisters in the past (beauty runs deep in this family!). “I was really excited for my session, because I had heard great things from my sisters”, she explained, “I haven’t had experience with other photographers, but I knew I didn’t want corny poses. I am a pretty energetic and bubbly person, and I knew you always allow the personalities of the people to shine through!” With a personality as big as hers, it made the images truly special! She plans to attend the University of Michigan after she graduates, and eventually study law. She also plans to return to Greece one day, which has been her favorite vacation spot to date.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful personality with me, Zoe!
