Emily has one of those rare smiles that lights up a room, and she has a spirit about her that lingers with you. She’s one of my wonderful spokesmodels, and this session was her feature! She’s a senior now, and come fall, I’ll be handling her senior photos as well. I’m excited to work again with a woman who has such a great character, and is such fun to spend time with! I’ve known Emily for a while now; she and my son were on the Varsity Tennis team together, and they’ve remained great friends. She’ll be graduating from Lake Mary High School, where she’s very active: she’s a part of the Student Government, Key Club, Interact Club, Diamond Dolls, Order of the Golden Fleece, the Spanish Honor Society, and the National Honor Society. When she’s not volunteering her time, she’s playing varsity tennis, and is on the cheerleading squad both in varsity and competition.
In her spare time, she likes to be around her family and friends, especially when going out on the town for a bite. For her session, we included an urban vibe to play off of her softness. The pastel greens of the alley we visited went well with her lovely skin tone and her blue top. I love her fashion taste, especially in off-shoulder tops, and we had a lot of fun finding textures and colors to match as we wandered around our locations. It was such fun spending the day with her; she’s a very positive person, it made me think the day was ending too quick! At dusk, we brought out the heart-shaped sparklers, and got some photos that reflected Emily’s lighthearted and sparkling personality.
She’s a world traveler, visiting Paris, Hawaii, and the Bahamas, to name a few destinations. She loves the memories that she’s made from each unique place, and she’s so fond of the memories that she’s made here, too. Her favorites come from being on varsity cheer, and cheering at the Friday night football games, and from winning the state cheer competition! She’s a girl with an others-focused attitude, and you can see it in her love for her family and her friends. This sort of character is what my spokesmodels are known for, and it’s an honor to have Emily as a part of my team, and to do her senior session come fall. I’m excited!
