Olivia’s the perfect blend of beauty and brains. We had such fun in our session, and I loved spending the day with her! She’s graduating from Lake Highland Prep, and heading on to college at the University of Tennessee. She’s an outgoing girl that loves adventure, and I loved the privilege of capturing that spirit in her photos! I think we can all agree that it’s tough to be in front of the camera and know what to do, but Olivia was a natural. You can tell that she’s a wonderful gal just from spending a few minutes with her. She’s active in a few clubs, including Best Buddies, Birthday Besties and Lake Highland Pen Pals, and loves spending quality time with people. In her spare time, you’ll find her volunteering, or at the beach hanging out with her closest friends.
I loved the locations we shot at in Olivia’s session. Because the session extended throughout the day, we were able to take advantage of the changing light and atmosphere outside. We ended the day with sparklers at dusk, and the set of photos turned into some of my favorites. Her adventurous spirit was a wonderful thing to witness, and her aspirations were inspiring to me. Her travel goals are to visit each of the seven wonders of the world, and spend a year living in a foreign country. She’s already seen some travel, volunteering on mission trips to Peru and the Dominican Republic. She helped to build community centers, install cement flooring in homes and build animal farms for local villages. She’s got a character that I love to see in someone so young!
While she’s excited for the future, she’s sad to leave her hometown. Some of her favorite memories are from high school, especially being runners-up at the State Cheerleading Championships. Her team broke program history that day, and it’s a memory she’ll treasure forever, alongside her lovely senior session. She was so warm and kind, and it was a pleasure spending the day with her! And I wish her all the best as she moves into her future. Congratulations Olivia!
