I photograph many teens each year, and each one has their own certain “look” and style that they want to portray. Macy really was suited to this urban, modern session, and I fell in love with every single frame. It was hard to narrow down my images to just these ones, to be honest. Macy attends Seminole High School (where she’s a sophomore), and she describes her personality as, “outgoing, but I can be quiet and shy depending on the setting.” She is a girl with many talents, and she excels at just about all of them! Art and culinary classes have really captured her interest lately, and she enjoys creative outlets like dance, photography, makeup artistry, videography, and doing sketches of interior designs. Macy also teaches dance, and enjoys hanging out with her friends, watching youtube, and listening to her favorite music when she has a free afternoon. Her best memory of high school so far would be homecoming.
“I really enjoy shopping at Brandy Melville, Pacsun, and Urban Outfitters”, she explained, “I’d love to be a model for Brandy Melville one day, since my favorite fashion trends right now would be vintage and hipster pieces.” Since so many of her interests center around fashion and design, she is considering interior design as a future career, and says it’s something she’s dreamt of since she was young. Macy really nailed the aesthetic of the session, and brought her own creative spin to our time at a local coffeeshop, record store, and downtown features. I think she’ll make such a great model or designer one day!
