High school is a pivotal time in the lives of many young people, a time where one learns to grow, explore, and discover who they are. As you navigate the halls of your high school, you also discover your place in the world, and develop new interests. For Olivia, her time at Trinity Prep helped her hone in on the things she loves (like volleyball and academics) and discover new things, like volunteer work and the Alzheimers Club. She’s involved in lots of things that are important to her, such as playing bingo with people with disabilities, and helping them feel loved and included. In her spare time, she also loves to go to the gym, read, and babysit for friends and family. One of her best memories from high school was the pre-game routine she shared with her team during volleyball practice, when they’d dance and have fun together.
Although she doesn’t ascribe much to the fast-changing trends, she loves fashion and her favorite stores are Aerie and Lululemon. “I’d say my personal style is athletic and comfortable”, she adds, “For my senior session, I just wanted to feel comfortable and confident”. She also shared with me that her biggest passion is God and her faith, which motivates her every day. She also looks up to her dad, who she says, “is the kindest and most patient person I know. He was an immigrant who came to this country with nothing, in order to have freedom and to build a better life”. With her bright mind and caring heart, she hopes to enter the medical field (I think she will be an amazing fit!) and major in neuropsychology or neuroscience.
