I’m sure you know at least a handful of people for whom a challenging cancer diagnosis has altered their lives, and raising awareness and funds is so important. This beautiful senior is passionate about raising money for research and funding, and that’s why her most meaningful memory from high school has been putting on a production of the Nutcracker for the Base Camp Children’s Cancer Research Foundation. I think this is just one of many things that makes this girl so special…her huge heart for others. “Putting on the dance production to raise money for cancer research has been something impactful in my life, and we have raised so much money for a great cause”, she adds. Meet Amelia, one of my Class of 2022 spokesmodels for Lake Mary High School. It would be difficult to describe her without mentioning the incredible community service work she has done, or her love for dance.
Amelia dances at Xtreme dance studio, and shared, “I love to dance. Any chance I get, I am at the studio or at the gym training. Besides dance, I love going to museums, hanging out with friends, and studying history in school.” She also loves being at the beach and by the water. Amelia’s mom found our spokesmodel program on Instagram, and suggested she signed up, and it turned into such a beautiful friendship. I am so grateful to know her, and love her bubbly and outgoing personality.
Upon graduation, she plans to attend Pace University. She also hopes to knock some things off her “bucket list”, like going backpacking in Europe, attending New York Fashion week, and seeing the Aurora Borealis. I admire her amazing heart, sense of style, and her work ethic that just never quits. Thank you, Amelia, for being part of my spokesmodel team…it’s been such a privilege for me!
