Katie | Florida Senior Photography

“I chose you for my senior photos because the images were gorgeous, and I loved the backgrounds,” shared Katie, “I also loved that you offer a professional hair and makeup artist, because it’s hot where we live, and it’s nice to know there is someone to do a little touch-up!” Here in Florida, it can reach some insane temperatures during the summer, and even into the fall! So, our goal of hair and makeup perfection is sometimes up against humidity, sun, or a breeze by the lakeside. That’s why we have the fabulous HMU artists that we do; they’re pros at making sure that you look incredible through your WHOLE shoot, not just at the start! Katie is this amazing young lady, and she’s a graduate from The First Academy. She has loved her time in high school (especially going to prom at Seaworld!), and she has been playing volleyball, as well. She started playing the sport in the fourth grade, and has played at the competitive level since the fifth grade, and shared “I had many trials along the way, but I always worked hard and never quit. It was worth it, because now I am the main setter for the Varsity Team at my school.” “I am also really passionate about tutoring younger girls,” she adds, “Especially in reading and rhythmic writing. I used to struggle with a learning disability of my own, and so I hope to encourage them in the struggle. I want to make a difference.” She also enjoys taking photos, hanging out with friends, and studying science in school. Although she hasn’t decided where her college home will be, she is applying to Auburn, Samford, and Mississippi State, and I know she will be incredible anywhere she lands!

Her goals for her senior session was to “look natural, and not be worried about posing,” and we worked together to achieve everything she wanted! Congratulations, Katie! You are a delight.
