There’s so much joy associated with senior year. It’s a special time, filled with memories that only happen once: prom, commencement, senior trips, college visits, and more. The pandemic took many of those moments from so many high schoolers, but it’s nice to see the world getting back to a sense of normal again. It makes senior sessions like this even more special, and working with girls like Sydni is such a privilege. She attends Bishop Moore Catholic High School, and graduated this summer. She was very involved at her school, and was part of the school leadership, the cheerleading squad, and Hornet House. She finds her science classes to be the most captivating of her subjects, and enjoys volunteering and working when she’s not in school (she has worked at Publix and a local pizza restaurant). One thing that she is very passionate about is taking care of the environment, so she volunteers lots of hours to help clean up the community, as well.
Sydni has been making the most of senior year, and many of her friends have had their senior year milestone marked with images by me, too! I love when clients are referred! She plans to work towards becoming a surgeon one day, by majoring in pre-med at the University of South Florida, adding, “I chose it because it is close to home, the beach, and is a nice campus. It’s the perfect school for what I want to do. I want to be a surgeon, and travel as much as possible.” She looks up to her mom, who she says, “is such a good person, and is very successful”. Sydni is outgoing, friendly, and really fun to be around…she also has great style! “My favorite current trend are purses and hoop earrings”, she explains, “My style is chic, sometimes a little bit boho or minimalist. I like shopping at Urban Outfitters and Forever 21”.
For her shoot, she wanted to have a ton of fun, and explore the locations she chose. We had a great time together, and I can’t wait to hear more about her pre-med major and her bright future ahead!
