They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. For many high school students, that can mean lots of little eyes are looking at them, and wanting to emulate them! Adrianna, one of my recent seniors, loves being a positive influence to children, and shares that it is one of the most meaningful things she has been a part of. Adrianna volunteers with a local charter school, in addition to being very involved with coaching gymnastics, and working a part-time job. She is graduating from Lake Nona High School, and is a very talented cheerleader. “In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, and being active”, adds this sweet graduate, “I love doing things with my friends, like going to the beach or going shopping. I also enjoy working out, art, and music”. One of her favorite memories is cheering at the football games, and she adds, “I have also learned not to stress out about the little things, and to always look at the bigger picture. Most problems aren’t as big as they seem, and it’s important to trust that everything will work out in the end!” Lastly, she shared, “My biggest accomplishment is making school history with my cheer team when we got the runner up title at State. With Covid, we had so much taken away from us, and even with the obstacles, we accomplished something great”.
Although she had never had professional portraits done, Adrianna showed up with a great attitude and was ready to be adventurous and excited about her session. She loves to change up her personal style often, but overall, is very trendy and girly. Her friends describe her as funny, kind, and easy-going, and I wanted to convey that in her photos. We chose these locations because of their architectural details, and the pretty waterside ones really brought out her personality. I know she has such an amazing future stretched out in front of her! “I would love to major in a health science or nursing field in the future”, explained Adrianna, “I want to be able to help others, and so I have chosen USF because of their medical programs”. Congratulations, Adrianna!
