Lauren is a young woman who gives me hope for the future of healthcare. Right now, our healthcare workers are considered heroes, and it is perfectly accurate. The field will be so lucky to have this wonderful, beautiful, and witty young lady in their ranks in just a few years. Lauren is graduating from Timber Creek High School Class of 2021, and is eager to begin her foray into work in medicine (Physician’s Assistant). She has actually begun the medical assisting program while she is still in high school, in order to gain even more experience. I admire her driven, loving spirit. She holds a part time job at a local restaurant, and still finds time to volunteer with the chapter of Popwarner cheerleading in her area; she was a cheerleader when she was young, and wants to impart her love of the sport to younger athletes. When it comes to hobbies, spending time with her family and friends tops the list!
Because her future pursuits are so important to her, and she is so passionate about the medical field, we chose to include scrubs and her stethoscope in her shoot. It really showed off her passion, and celebrated her achievements thus far. Of course, not all our photos could be in scrubs ;), so Lauren brought her A-game style, too! She loves wearing dresses, and following the latest trends (her favorite influencer is Emma Chamberlain). She describes herself as, “outgoing and optimistic”, and has such a cheerful spirit. Lauren credits her mom for these traits, and adds, “My mom has been there for me through everything, and I hope to be just a fraction of the woman she is. She is the person I look up to the most.”
“I have learned that not everything lasts forever, even when you think it might”, she concludes, “I’ve learned this lesson multiple times in my life. I’ve accomplished some big things in high school, like, winning summit with my dance team in 2018, and I am looking towards my future!” Congratulations, Lauren!
