Sweet Channing is such a wonderful person. I could spend every day listening to her big dreams, and hearing about all the ways she wants to change the world! I feel so lucky that she is one of my LGP spokesmodels for the Class of 2021, and truly loved this mini session with her. This very busy young lady has been active at Lake Highland Prep, where she has been part of the varsity track team, the national honor society, and student government. She is an accomplished cheerleader, with experience on both a competitive and a regular cheer team. She also puts in tons of time doing charity work, and mentors a class of sixth grade students to help prepare them for the transition into middle and high school classes. Addtionally, she is part of the Dara Leadership Academy, and tutors a class of second graders in reading and writing. One of her biggest delights is helping others, and in being a leader! I am so proud of her huge heart.
I loved being able to work with her family again, since I had done her brother’s senior photos in the past. For this session, her mom and dad accompanied her, and it was a pleasure to spend the time with the three of them. As always, my amazing hair and makeup artist did Channing’s beautiful, soft curls and polished makeup look, and even came along to the shoot to make sure everything was just-so. I loved the simple and classic sweater she chose, which had just a little bit of texture. Texture adds a lot to the depth of a portrait, and you can never go wrong with neutral pieces like jeans and suede ankle boots! The whole look is pretty, elegant, and suits her beautiful personality!
