It is not easy to reflect back on life experiences and learn from them, but it’s often how we build our character and become stronger. For Kaitlin, learning not to get too caught up in the tiny details was something she learned during her high school years. “I really learned not to sweat the small stuff,” she explained, “Over the course of my four years, I really found myself in unnecessary situations, and I learned that it’s best to focus on the bigger picture, and to focus on all the good things in your life, and not all the negatives.” This gorgeous girl really has so many positive things to focus on, as well! She is graduating from Hagerty High School, and has been involved with the soccer team, as well as serving as the class president. She’s also worked part time at a few different jobs, and enjoys watching Netflix and being with her friends and family when she has free time. She adds that the best part of high school has been “meeting the people who have enhanced her life in the very best of ways.” One of her biggest passions is volunteering her time to others, including at the local hospitals, and going on a mission trip to Haiti. “Serving others makes me feel so alive and so good about myself and the work I’m doing. There is nothing better than bringing smiles to people’s faces,” she noted.
Kaitlin’s friends referred her to me for the LGP experience: fun and unique senior portraits that reflect the personality of the subject. Kaitlin knew she wanted to show off her outgoing and upbeat approach to life, and we brought it to life with some wonderful locations! Her wardrobe was a mixture of laid-back and elegant, and I worked hard to capture every outfit and pose that would be most flattering (not a hard job with such a stunning subject!). She plans to attend the University of Alabama after graduation, and I know they will love having her outgoing and sweet spirit on their campus! Roll Tide!
