As I reflect back on 2019, I feel so privileged to have worked with all these amazing young people, and there’s no better way to kick off 2020 than by sharing this beautiful gal’s session. Avery is one of those people who seem to be able to succeed at anything they put their mind to, and she does so with love and grace…she’s so talented! With her many talents comes a laundry list of memories that she’s made at Trinity Preparatory School; including cheerleading, track, and weightlifting. She excels in her science-related classes, and absolutely loves to dance (she’s been a very accomplished dancer since the time she was very small). If she ever has a spare afternoon, she enjoys nestling in with a great book, going thrifting with her best friends, or finding a great new spot to dine out. Avery has always been driven to succeed, but says she has found balance during her years in high school, adding, “I have learned that I am very competitive and always want to be the best, but that it is ok to just try your best and not have to be the best at everything!” She really credits her parents to her passion and success, and says that her dad in particular has influenced her to work hard at whatever she tries.
“I envisioned a fun, easy-going shoot when I booked with you”, she explained, “I am also a very visual person, so I wanted to be able to make adjustments as we went. It made me less anxious!” She shared other fun memories from high school during our time together, including boating with friends, and vacationing with her family to places like the British Virgin Islands, where they share their pastime of sailing. Lastly, she enjoys going to a yearly book festival that celebrates her favorite authors. She had so many interesting things about her personality, I could have shot images for a few days to capture them all! She plans to possibly attend the University of Georgia when she graduates, but is continuing to keep all of her many options open as she progresses through senior year.
Avery, you are such a bright and cheery young lady, and I wish you so many good things in your future!
