I truly enjoyed my time with this young man. He was so polite and caring, and very thoughtful. He is part of the Class of 2020, and is graduating from Trinity Prep School. He has been busy making memories and achieving his academic goals while he has been there, and I know his family is beyond proud of the many successes he’s already seen. This busy guy is involved at the school on several levels, including theatre, baseball, and yearbook. Music is another big passion of his, and he loves to play both the piano and guitar…what a gifted student! Because theatre and music have played such a large role in his life, he plans to continue his artistic pursuits by studying Musical Theatre in college when he’s done with high school. One fun fact about Benji is that he is a twin, and I was blessed to be work with his sister Ceci, as well! Be on the lookout for her upcoming blog post next week! The two are very close, and seeing their bond really warmed my heart. Family is such a special gift!
Working with so many seniors each year is something that could get monotonous, but I love making each session special. I don’t think any senior (or parent) wants a cookie-cutter experience, so I strive to make sure there is something unique about each session that I do. Whether that is the location, the styling, or the poses, it brings me great joy to have each senior light up when they see their individual session; knowing that theirs won’t look like their friends! I encourage all of my clients to share what makes them special, or the passions in their lives, because I am able to incorporate that into their shoot. For Benji, we brought in his camera because of his personal love of photography and the arts. It shows a very fun part of his multi-faceted personality.
Congratulations, Benji, on a high school career that you should be so proud of!
