Peyton | Timber Creek High School

Finding balance in life is so important, and it’s one skill that high schoolers definitely need as they head off to college. Not only balancing tasks, but also balancing the expectations and commitments that come with growing up; it can be a tall order! Peyton has learned to balance the many things in her life with grace and passion. She is graduating this year from Timber Creek High School, where she has really managed a dizzying amount of activities, extracurriculars, and more, in her four years there. She is part of the Beta Club, the pre-med club, and the senior class council, and has earned a spot on the National Honor Society, as well. In addition, she’s lended her talents to the student government association, and the high school Lacrosse team. “When I have a free day, I enjoy going to the gym to workout, going shopping with friends, or enjoying time at the beach”, she explained, “I also love listening to country music with my friends, and going to whatever music festivals are nearby!” Playing Lacrosse with some of her closest friends remains her very best memory from the last four years of high school.

“Bohemian” was the word she chose to describe her personal style, and most of her senior wardrobe reflected this. She enjoys shopping at Pacsun, Billabong, and Urban Outfitters for the breezy, laid-back style of her everyday wear, and she mixed in some higher-end pieces as well. Natural photos were her goal, and she really wanted her personality to shine through. “I’d describe myself as driven, outgoing, and active”, she adds, “I get a lot of that from my mom, who is the person I most look up to. She is always working, whether for her job or her family, and she never takes a break! I hope I always have that drive to bring such happiness to my family when I am older”. Besides attending college, Peyton plans to skydive, go white-water rafting, and run a marathon after graduation, and then will be heading off to the University of Florida. “I have really learned to balance getting my work done and having fun in high school”, she concludes, “I have always been really ambitious, but also love going out on the weekends, and having a good time with my friends! I hope these skills stick with me at college.”

I have no doubt that she will continue handling everything that comes her way with joy and determination!
