“Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see,
and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.”– Stephen Hawking
Curiosity is harder to come by these days, with the rise of the internet and the ability to find out everything we need in an instant. It makes it harder to maintain your innate curiosity about the world, but there are some students who have kept that wonder for the world. Olivia is one of them. She is just the most amazing young lady, with bright eyes, and plenty of big dreams as she gets ready for graduation. She is part of the graduating class from Lake Mary High School, and has made her mark on things like the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, and the Golden Fleece. English is one of her favorite subjects, because of it’s bend towards creativity and artistry. Olivia is not only creative, but also loves things like dancing and spending time with her friends and family. She describes herself as fairly spontaneous, and always has a friend who is ready for an adventure with her. One of her many accomplishments includes being part of the Lake Mary Marionettes, which is a dance team that focuses on development of character as well as dance skillsets. “The most important thing that I learned in high school was that it was very beneficial to always be kind to everyone, no matter what.” she shared, “You should always be outgoing, because you never know the kinds of friends you will make.”
Although she hadn’t had much experience taking professional photos besides our junior spokesmodel shoot together, she entrusted me with the (easy) task of making her look and feel confident and beautiful for her senior year! She wanted a more natural look that showed off her features. Olivia has really honed in on her own style, and it was really fun to see the outfits and ideas that she put together. One of her favorite trends is the boyfriend jean, and special pieces from Urban Outfitters. She plans to call the University of Alabama home after graduation, and they couldn’t be luckier to have her. Thank you, Olivia, for asking me to do your senior photos…it was such an honor to capture your beauty in your junior and senior years! I hope you never let yourself lose your amazing curiosity and beautiful spirit.
