“Do you suppose she’s a wildflower?” -Alice in Wonderland
That infamous line in the famous fairy tale is one of my favorites. The wildflowers are the best kinds of people. They are free spirits, beautiful souls… the kinds of people that you instantly gravitate towards. They are the ones who smile through struggles, who support everyone with a hug and encouragement, and the ones who are resilient beyond measure. The word wildflower suits Stefani perfectly. This beautiful grad is from Seminole High School, where she frequently shines onstage in the theatre program. She is also part of the Thespian club, which is a branch of competitive theatre. Besides showing her acting prowess as often as she is able, this lovely lady also enjoys singing, dancing, and acting, and works part time as a waitress. With only a little bit of spare time, she is careful to use what she does have for true relaxation; watching her favorites on Netflix or YouTube, and being with her loved ones. “Musical theatre and singing are the things that make me feel truly alive”, explains Stefani, “They are both my true passions in life.” When I asked her what lessons she has learned in high school, she said “I have learned that I am capable of more than I ever thought I was”.
Alyssa, Stefani’s good friend, referred her to me for senior photos, and I couldn’t wait to get her spunky personality in front of my camera. She describes herself as “strong willed yet compassionate”, and that is very accurate. It made sense that such a strong, gorgeous girl would also have a strong fashion sense, too. Stefani loves patterned pants and blazers, and her favorite pieces are things like jumpsuits and rompers…she’s even brave enough to rock some super fun snakeskin printed pants! A selection of business casual apparel was what she wanted to bring, and I sought out locations that would pair beautifully with her choices. “I really envision beautiful photos in beautiful locations”, she adds. When her commencement is over, she hopes to one day visit beautiful Greece, and also earn her actor’s equity card (a membership that you have to work many weeks to earn, that gives you additional auditions and opportunities). And, she will also be attending the University of Tampa after graduation.
