There is a sense of peace and calming that you feel when you meet Natasha in person. I hope it comes through in these photos, but she is a joyful, calming presence that I really loved meeting. She has a smile that touches everyone she meets, and is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, carrying herself with confidence that belies her age. This beautiful young lady graduated last year, but didn’t have her senior portraits done at the time. She is now happily a freshman at Rollins College in Winter Park, and we decided to do these when her mom could be present for parent’s weekend (perfect timing!). We did these images in the Winter Park area, where we found plenty of outdoor locations that suited Natasha’s elegant wardrobe choices (that purple dress was a showstopper!). It was also really nice to spend time with Natasha’s mother, who was a big help during the session and a nice source of encouragement to both of us.
In 2018, Natasha celebrated her graduation from Brentwood High School, where she was part of the women’s soccer team, club/travel soccer, Girl Scouts, Female Athletes Against Drugs, the student council, and the Model UN. She is passionate about her faith as well, and employs her personal values through volunteering with Operation Christmas Child, Habitat for Humanity, and is involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. During her spare time, she enjoys lifeguarding and spending time babysitting or tutoring, and scrapbooking as a creative outlet. One of the major highlights of her high school years was making it to state for soccer, and more recently, a study abroad program in Costa Rica. “In high school, I learned to enjoy life, and not stress over everything,” explains Natasha, “the person who has been the one I have looked up to the most in my life was my dad, who was the funniest, most caring person I knew.”
Natasha is a fashion forward young lady, who likes shopping at places like Urban Outfitters, and dressing for the fall season. Her favorite color is pink, because of how flattering it is on her skin tone, and she loves a great platform heel because they are so fun! While her everyday style is bohemian chic, she brought a lovely variety of items for her session, that really expressed her personality. Since she is already attending college, she has her sights set on some other bucket list goals: traveling to every continent, swimming with sharks, and learning a new language.
