Kennedy | Lake Mary Senior Photography

Every worthwhile accomplishment has a price tag attached to it. The question is always whether you are willing
to pay the price to attain it– in hard work, sacrifice, patience, faith, and endurance. -John Maxwell

It’s been said that many people miss the value of success because it entails hard work! I believe a good work ethic is key to much of life, but maybe especially in high school. Trying to juggle what is being asked of today’s high schoolers means that they have to rise to the occasion….being merely smart isn’t enough. Being a true leader means managing your time well, looking out for the interests of others, and overcoming obstacles that appear impossible. Kennedy has really learned the value of time well spent, and she is preparing for graduation from Lake Mary High School with an eye always towards her future! She has been part of the national honor society, the Spanish honors society, the Quill and Scroll international honors society, and was editor of the school newspaper. She excels in both math and english, and is also a Varsity Cheerleader for LMHS! “My hobbies would include cheerleading, dancing, and singing,” says this bright grad, “I also used to be a pole vaulter and I played the piano, guitar, and the oboe!” I think there must be very few things this amazing young lady can’t do!

Kennedy has a sister whose photos I had done last year, and I was delighted that their family used me a second time. It is always a pleasure to work with legacy clients who I can get to know, and who I remember. Kennedy is a very modern and stylish young lady, and I wanted to make sure her locations fit her mature and professional personality. She is also a ton of fun, so I didn’t want her images to appear too “stuffy” or aged. Instead, we struck the perfect balance with an urban and lakefront location that showed off her personal style and her gorgeous features. She loves following fun trends, especially ones like platform sandals and jean skirts that really made a comeback recently, and shops at boutiques like Princess Polly (which I had never heard of, but now want to frequent daily). Although summer is Kennedy’s favorite season for fashion and style, she looks pretty amazing year-round. Once she graduates, she hopes to attend college at FSU, and set to work on some of her other goals: going to Australia, skydiving, and scuba diving! I love her adventurous spirit and am proud of her many accomplishments.
