Every photographer I know hopes for the perfect light and the perfect shoot when they meet up with a client. I’m no different. I love when everything comes together, all the little pieces, into one day that just feels…right. Lena’s session went perfectly, and was one of the days when I just felt extremely grateful to get to interact with all the seniors I am blessed to meet. This gorgeous brunette is finishing up her years at Trinity Preparatory School, where she is putting her bright intellect and sweet spirit to work in the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), Manatee, and Latin clubs. She loves participating in history class, and enjoys cheerleading, weightlifting, track, and swim when she’s not hitting the books. Some of her best high school memories revolved around her cheer team, or heading off campus with her friends during lunch-breaks. When she has a free weekend, she greatly enjoys babysitting, or painting and drawing. In fact, art is one of her favorite pastimes, adding, “I love artsy things. I am obsessed with Pinterest, and I love making those DIY friendship bracelets! I’m also into keeping up with the latest YouTube channels, and watching tutorials from people in the beauty community, like James Charles.” Lena is determined, and says most of her friends would describe her someone who likes to be a perfectionist.
“I looked at a ton of senior pictures to find a company, but I loved the ones I saw from LGP the most,” explains Lena, “My mother is a photographer, so I hadn’t done many professional shoots other than team pictures or yearbook photos. I saw a behind the scenes story on my friend Ashley’s Instagram, and she looked so pretty. I loved the lighting, and the hair and makeup, as well as the girls’ expressions and how happy they looked.” I was thrilled with how they came out as well, and how much of her personality came through in each one. Lena is heading off to college soon, and then hopes to travel across Europe! I’m thrilled for what I know will be a truly exceptional future for her!
