Gatienne | Hagerty High School

“Sugar, spice, and everything nice”  is what little girls are made of, but I’d have to add that this young woman is comprised of strength, kindness, and fierceness! She is so strong and smart, and I could not wait to get her in front of the camera with her incredible eyes and beautiful hair. She is graduating from Hagerty High School, where she’s knee-deep in the preparations for college. The Pre-Med club, Tri-M Honor Society, English Honor Society, and the National Science Honor Society are just some of the lucky organizations she is a part of…Science is her passion, and she excels in her biology and chemistry classes. “I might be shy and awkward if you first meet me”, she explained, “But if you get to know me, you will find I am quirky and kind of loud! I wanted my senior photos to be fun, casual, and chic, with different locations with cool architecture. I chose Linda because friends referred me!” I enjoyed every moment getting to know her and learning more about the things she loves. Besides science, her interests and hobbies include marching band, concert band, shopping, and watching Netflix, as well as going to coffee shops with her friends. Her dog Bentley also earns some of her limited free time!

I always start planning out my senior sessions from the moment I meet the high schoolers, but hearing their input helps me make it perfect. Gatienne explained that she loves fashion, as well as the fall season, and I wanted to make sure she got to show off those things. She was eager to go to Rollins College to shoot some of these images, and wanted variety in terms of locations and outfits! Her fitted blue, strappy dress was one of my favorite pieces that she brought along, and it was such a flattering style and color with her brunette hair. Some other interesting facts about this beautiful girl are that she lives on a farm (she has a litany of animals like chickens, horses, pigs, and sheep), and her bucket list includes traveling to Europe, going skydiving, and living in France for a full year. After graduation, she plans to attend college at the University of Florida or LSU, and I can’t wait to keep up with her many pursuits as she moves into her future!
