It’s back to school already (even though summer seems to have just ended!), and this gorgeous young lady couldn’t be more thrilled to be entering into her long-awaited senior year. Erin attends Lake Mary High School, where she excels in her English class. Although she isn’t involved in current extracurriculars, she fills her free time outside of academics with working part time, and spending time with her beloved friends and family. “I’d say I am laid-back, yet motivated,” she shared with me, “I chose you for my senior photographs because everyone looks happy in your portraits!” It wasn’t hard to capture joyful pictures of this gal, she has a smile that never seems to leave her face. Her casual style was really an asset in these locations, since it showed off her personal taste and personality. I loved her checkered Vans, and the gorgeous berry colored top she chose, and I was eager to capture the candid photos she requested. As a senior photographer, I always focus on quality of images, as well as capturing what makes the client come to life in front of the camera. For Erin, that involved tons of laughter, and really honing in on her sense of humor and her style. I think we were able to accomplish both those things with her urban themed session.
When I met with Erin and her family last week for her session premiere, it really warmed my heart to see their reactions to how her images came out. They agreed it captured the girl they love so much, and I felt there was no higher compliment than a family who can walk away knowing their child’s senior year has been captured authentically.
