This may have been a mini session, but we packed in the fun of a full session into this time together! Kami is a senior at Lake Mary High School, and she was part of my junior spokesmodel program last year. This mini was to celebrate her being part of our model team, and I couldn’t wait to get her energy and spirit in front of my lens. When she’s at school, she really enjoys studying psychology, and is part of the Biology and Medicine club, and her local YoungLife chapter. Additionally, she was part of the cheerleading squad in both 9th and 10th grade, and held part time jobs at Smoothie King and Neoreach along her high school journey. She’s obviously a busy lady, but some of her other hobbies include traveling and reading, as well as going to the beach and shopping at her favorite stores. She shared with me that “my favorite high school memory has been cheering at the pep rallies” and that was fitting because her friends would also describe her as outgoing and confident!
I chose these downtown/urban locations for Kami, since she’s very attuned to the latest styles, and I thought it would capture her spunk and charm. She had an elegant and classy, off the shoulder pink top and a black denim skirt that she paired with chunky block heeled ankle boots. The look was stylish as well as fun, and her smile in the “angel wing” shot says it all! When this beautiful girl was just five, she had to have emergency hip surgery, and the experience was the catalyst for her choosing the medical or science field in the future. Her five year plan includes college (at either University of Florida or FSU), and visiting every continent in the world! We have scheduled Kami’s full session for September, and I’m already counting down the days till we get to dream up a new location and outfits!
