Sarah | Lake Mary Senior Photographer

When I asked this beautiful girl what had drawn her to my brand of senior photography, she said the photos were “realistic not idealistic”, and I loved that description. Of course, we all want to look a little glam and have a great time, but your senior photos should definitely still resemble YOU and celebrate the things that make you such a special person. Sarah is a graduate from Lake Mary High School, and she’s an extremely artistic student. Her favorite class is art history, and she’s part of the Art Appreciation club at her school as well. During her school years, she’s also held jobs at First Class Cleaners and Lee’s Palace. “My dog just had a litter of puppies, so most of my free time lately has been spent taking care of them”, she explained, “But, other than that, I really love to read, watch movies, and visit museums and gardens. I also enjoy yoga and traveling when I have free time.” Sarah has an impressive eight dogs at the moment, and she loves her furry friends! This past March, she was lucky enough to visit Spain and France (I was just slightly jealous!), and she shared that Paris was her favorite city.

Sarah hadn’t had professional photos done before, but you sure can’t tell from these images: she looks like a total pro! Her friend Parker referred her, and I was pleased to give her “natural and everyday” poses and styling, which she requested. “My current fashion favorite is the off-the-shoulder top trend, and denim skirts”, she added, “I enjoy shopping at places like Pacsun, and dressing for the summer season.” Besides a very pretty, natural look, she also loved flowers and wanted to incorporate them. The gardens were the perfect spot to paint the picture she wanted for her shoot, and every pretty blossom accented her natural beauty and smile. Sarah says her personality would likely be described as “shy and easygoing”, and I truly enjoyed getting to know her better during our time together. I especially loved her dressier outfit, which you can see below, and the way it brought out her lovely eyes. In the next five years, she hopes to learn a foreign language, write a book, and plant a garden. I think she’ll be very successful in all three ventures!
