Alyssa | Lake Mary High School

When it comes to senior outfits, there’s really no true “formula” for getting them perfect. I always tell my senior clients to choose things that represent their own personal style, instead of trying to morph into something brand-new on the day of your shoot. I’d much rather the images look like an authentic version of YOU, and those are the photos you’ll want as the years pass by. Alyssa took my advice and selected such a fun variety of dressy and casual outfits that were right on trend, while still being authentic to her style. Plus, the best accessory is a smile, and she has a stunning one. Alyssa is a senior at Lake Mary High School, and we hit it off from the moment we met. “Outgoing, driven, and passionate” are the three words she would use to describe herself.

At Lake Mary, she is involved in the Interact Club, the Spanish Honor Society, and the National Honor Society. I really admire all of the students who I’ve photographed who have been part of the various Honor programs. The National Honor Society has been around since 1921, and exists to help students celebrate their accomplishments ย and become more involved in their communities and their students bodies. All of the chapters inspire high schoolers to become leaders among their peers, and that is something I fully support! Besides these academic accomplishments, Alyssa is the captain of the varsity sideline and competition cheerleading teams, and also held a part time job at Sophie and Trey during high school. She lists History as her favorite class, and in her spare time, shopping and time at the beach are where you’re likely to find her. Last summer, her family also had the opportunity to visit Europe, which she says “was my favorite vacation, because I appreciated the beauty and history within every city.” Alyssa also shared with me that her best high school memory so far has been the pep rallies and football games with all of her friends.

After she graduates, this amazing girl plans to attend the University of Florida, and try out for their cheer team. She also hopes the next five years bring her new adventures, like world travel and skydiving, but her main goal is “to make a difference”. I have no doubt that she will!
