I know I’m a few years removed from high school (humor me with the a “few”, okay? :), but I am also a mother. My children are young adults themselves, and I truly understand the stresses that haunt many high schoolers these days, ones that weren’t around when I was a teen. I hear about teens who have been bullied, harassed online, or made to feel inadequate across social media platforms. The bullying seems so much more harsh online than it was in the hallways of my high school, and it breaks my heart that teens are dealing with that on top of the regular schoolwork and preparation for college. That’s why precious teens like Sabrina truly give me hope for the future. I know girls like her are the ones lighting the way for the others who think there is truly a better way to live. She is one of my junior spokesmodels, and I couldn’t be more proud of the way she carries herself and radiates love to her classmates.
Sabrina attends Lake Mary High School, where she loves history, and playing volleyball. Some of her favorite high school memories include the pep rallies at school, and her hobbies include going to the gym, hanging out at the beach, shopping, cooking and baking, and being with friends and family. She has also done data management work at Neoreach. “I’d describe my personality as passionate, ambitious, courteous and sincere” she shared with me, “I dream of traveling to Machu Picchu, going scuba diving, and going on a mission trip one day.” She also hopes to attend FSU after she graduates. When it came time to dream up her mini session outfits, Sabrina knew that she would love stylish and shoulder-baring tops (I love the berry colored one), and possibly her favorite ankle boots. Because shopping is one of her favorite hobbies, I knew her wardrobe would be amazing, and it certainly was! “I chose you for my senior photography, because I just loved the work, and your clients always look genuinely happy, comfortable, and beautiful in all of their photos. I also love the locations”, she added.
