The “Be the Change” club is one of Lake Mary High School’s student organizations, and it’s one of my favorites. The club exists to inspire teens and prevent bullying through service projects and fundraisers. The teens in the club work together to promote positive change, and it’s a really neat thing, especially in the light of tragic recent events in Parkland. I love whenever I see juniors and seniors working to actively change situations in their schools, and Gabby is one of those amazing young people. I loved meeting her for her junior year mini session. Besides being part of the Be the Change club, she’s also active in the Spanish Honor Society, and the National Honor Society. She’s an accomplished athlete, and loves playing both volleyball and beach volleyball. Her 16th birthday party is one of her most treasured memories from high school, but I know she will make many more memories in her upcoming senior year! In her free time, she enjoys shopping, getting her nails done, and going to the beach with her friends (maybe that’s why we got along so well!).
With shopping as one of her pastimes, I was excited to see the choices she would make for her senior wardrobe, and I was not disappointed. I loved planning and designing her custom session around her beautiful clothes, and especially when we added the fairy lights and the blue fog at the end of her shoot. Gabby enjoys shopping at Sophie and Trey, and Urban Outfitters, so I wanted to keep her session true to her hip, urban style. She has big dreams for after school, including sky diving, swimming with dolphins, and traveling to as many countries as possible. “I chose Linda for my senior photos because I heard so many great things about them”, she shared, “The girls look like they have fun taking their portraits, and they are always clear, different, and filled with fun poses. I also loved the makeup and hair styling”.
