I’m going to remember Sammie. For one thing, her free spirit gave the whole shoot a peaceful and creative atmosphere, and for another, I know this girl is going to be a famous musician someday! She’s moving on from Lake Mary High School, where she was a big part of the chorus and band, onward to Berklee College of Music. She’s a multi-instrumentalist, playing piano, guitar, ukulele, saxophone, didjeridoo – and all that in addition to singing! Music is her great passion, and she hopes to study at Berklee to master her craft someday. Over the summer, she’s stayed busy tutoring students trying out for the Allstate Choirs. One of the prominent things on her bucket list is to conduct a nationally acclaimed choir – and I’m positive that one won’t take long for her to cross off the list.

The shoot was such a fun experience with Sammie! She brought a cool feel to the day, and she was a natural. She made the modeling look effortless! She has a down-to-earth attitude, which makes sense considering her passion for nature. Some of her favorite memories from high school were spending her day exploring state parks with her classmates. Thankfully, Florida is home to some of the most beautiful landcapes, and the bridge you see in the photos below is one of our most loved locations, and paired with Sammie, it made for a really beautiful photo!

Sammie is a woman of her own style, and it’s refreshing and inspiring to see someone so confident and comfortable. She helped make the session even more creative, and whenever she talked about music, she radiated with passion. For her, it’s a way of life, affecting her all the way to her soul. I know her love for it will really take her places! And I wish her all the best on her journey there.
