The Parks are one of those rare families that you instantly fall in love with. They are some of the sweetest, most caring people I’ve known! Living in Winter Park, Florida, the Parks are Michael, Angel, and their two kids, Will and Kate. Each of their personalities fit together so well as a unit, that it was such a joy to capture in their family portrait. Michael is a general contractor, and Angel is a Barre3 fitness instructor. When they’re not working, Michael enjoys cooking, home improvement, golf, and Orange Theory fitness. For Angel, like her husband, she enjoys anything fitness related, but especially Barre3, which was her passion before it was her job! They bring the kids along for family bike rides through Baldwin Park or Park avenue, spending time in their pool, and traveling. Some of their favorite vacation destinations are Anna Maria Island, and Bradenton beach for summer trips, and winter ski trips to Beaver Creek. They spent Christmas in New York, which was a first for their kids!
Will takes after his dad with his love for cooking, aspiring to be a Master Chef Jr. Besides gastronomy, he loves legos, reading, and playing a host of sports. Kate loves spending time with her dog Cole, arts and crafts, and ballet. The Parks are very active members of their community; Angel, with her background in education, spends a lot of time helping at her children’s school. Michael is involved with several industry and non-profit boards, including First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, United Against Poverty, and Young Life. He also serves as president of the Timberlane Shores Civic Association, and loves this opportunity to give back to the community his family is a big part of. Their neighborhood is a close-knit group of families that all regularly spend time together, especially for holiday celebrations and BBQ’s. Originally from Alabama, they made the move to Winter Park in 2013, and say it’s the best decision they’ve made since moving to Florida.
