I love meeting people. My job allows me the great privilege to work with people from diverse backgrounds, each with their own story. And I get to take part in it! Raksha was a joy to work with. She was an LGP senior spokesmodel, and it’s been wonderful getting to know her in our sessions over the past two years. I got to know her family as well, and Raksha’s mom even had an Indian dress made especially for her senior session, it was gorgeous! We wanted to use a few different locations for our shoot: Raksha wanted to use both an urban setting, and to shoot at a farm with horses. The shots turned out great, and her favorites were the ones with those beautiful horses!
Raksha is a 2017 graduate from Lake Highland Prep School. She played varsity lacrosse there, as a goalie. In the fall, she’s heading off to Rollins College. Having known her for two years, I can assure you that she will go on to do wonderful things in her future. Her family is so proud of her, and I even got to capture a few shots with Raksha and her little sister, at their home. I can’t wait until her sister is a senior, too!
